- Info_note_for_passengers_arriving_in_Rwanda (5) 14MAY 2022
- Passengers no longer need to take a PCR test prior to their departure for Kigali, a rapid antigen test taken 72 hours before departure is now accepted.
- Travellers still have to take a second antigen test at their own expense (US$5) on arrival at Kigali.
- All travellers arriving and transiting in Rwanda must complete the passenger locator form and upload their negative COVID-19 rapid antigen test certificate.
- Passengers leaving Rwanda must show a negative rapid antigen test taken 72 hours before departure. A PCR test is only necessary if it is required at the final destination (FYI – Qatar Airlines are asking for a PCR test)
A full PCR test is also still required 72hrs prior to any primate trekking so some trips will do a Rapid Antigen test & a PCR test on arrival if trekking following day. Ask Mandy for full details regarding your clients’ trips.
