Mahogany Springs Lodge is centrally located in Buhoma town, on the northern side of Bwindi. The lodge is nestled on its own private section of the Munyanga River, and mountain gorillas are often viewed from the terraces crossing the river below the lodge.

Mahogany Springs offers privacy and serenity blended with optimal comfort in a spectacular setting. At Mahogany Springs it is the little touches that make the big difference, from the tiny details in the design of the lodge through to the excellent service provided by the highly trained management team. Meals are delicious and ingredients are freshly picked from the on-site kitchen garden. In mid-2022 the lodge received extensive refurbishments and is looking lovely.

The lodge has a variety of spacious suites, including their superior suites (twin, double or triple), honeymoon suite and the 2 bedroom-2 bathroom presidential/family suite, as well as a new 2 bedroom (king bedded; en suite) riverfront villa with private lounge and panoramic verandah. Each cottage has its own private elevated terrace with chairs, table and stunning panoramic views.The suites are spacious with large double doors and beautiful windows. There are power points in the rooms as well as a dressing table/desk. All suites have large en-suite bathrooms with a gorgeously designed open terracotta shower. For added comfort and peace of mind all the suites have a mosquito net system that wraps around the entire area of the beds
